NAUI Open Water Scuba Lessons/Class FOR SHARK WHISPERER VOLUNTEERS ONLY - DISCOUNTED CLASS

FOR SHARK WHISPERER VOLUNTEERS ONLY!! 

DISCOUNTED COURSE

• 14 hours academics, 17 hours practical (10 hours minimum in water training)
• 2-3 confined water scuba training sessions (3-5 dives)
• 3 open water training sessions (or more) Minimum of 6 total dives to graduate
• Book Pack complete with training manual & DVD's for learning and online code you can choose your learning style. 

Prerequisits:

• Minimum 15 years old (Jr. Open water 10-14 years old)
• Ability to swim minimum of 450 yards with no assistance or equipment
• Must understand and pass written exams prior to open water sessions

Student must complete the either the videos/e-online learning or book reading/study of all 9 chapters (Although all three learning methods are included in your book packet you only need choose one option to complete the 9 chapters).  You must complete and pass your final exam prior to your final in water session with an instructor.  Once you complete your at home academics, we schedule your in water training and review sessions.  This will be 2-3 days of training/2-3 dives per day or 4 days of training at 2 dives per day.  We have flexible schedules for this training with so many instructors on our team.  Just please call to book the instructor and class time: 321.299.5796 or 239-297-9447.  It is reccomended that you book at least 3 weeks in advanced however, we have been known to accomodate a much tighter schedule.

After payment we will send your book pack for study at home before the class starts.  We provide all gear needed for training included in the cost of this course.   You may want to purchase your own Scuba Mask, Scuba Fins, Boots and a Snorkel.  We do have an economy option that can be added on to this purchase with the drop down "Training Option" which will allow you to choose your Mask, Fins, Snorkel and Boots in either Yellow, Blue or Pink as a set.   We reccomend that you wait until after you first day of training if your not getting this approved set of proper starter gear to be sure you learn enough about the equipment to be sure your getting the correct type of gear for you. You are welcome to purchase these items on our  where ever you feel comfortable, they do not have to be purchased from us.  We reccomend purchasing gear only from reputable dealers who will warranty or stand by thier products.  Please note: Accessories below are some approved options for consideration.  Please call with any questions: 239.297.9447 or cell: 321.299.5796. 

This certification if completed will allow a person to dive anywhere worldwide no more than 60 ft. deep.  This person will be able to purchase scuba equipment, rent or buy scuba tanks and board a dive boat.   The student must meet or exceed the standards listed in the NAUI open water instructors class in order to pass this class and receive certification.  This is not difficult and our instructors are patient experts happy to provide the training in each skill until we are sure you will be a safe open water diver and comfortable with the mastery of every skill and safety measure.  It is always reccommended to get advanced training after open water certification.  This is a beginners course.  Must be a minimum of 8 years old, complete a medical statement and waivers and be able to swim comfortably 450 yards and tread water for 20 minutes.
