Prerequisites:
Students must complete the e-online learning study prior to the first in water training session. Students must also complete and pass with 80% correct or better on your final exam prior to your final in water session with an instructor. Once you complete your at home academics, we schedule your in water training and review sessions. This will be 1 (or more if needed) days of training/1-2 dives per day. We have flexible schedules for this training with so many instructors on our team. Just please call to book the instructor and class time: 321.299.5796 or 239-297-9447. It is recommended that you book at least 3 weeks in advance, however, we have been known to accommodate a shorter schedule.
After you complete your order online here, we then immediately send your digital pack for study at home before the class starts. We provide all gear needed for training included in the cost of this course.
This certification once completed will allow a person to have the skills, training and ability to provide emergency first response measures in order to potentially save the life of any fellow diver in trouble, or better, to prevent any such trouble in the first place by recognizing signs of danger or stress. This person will be able to recover, revive and ofter basic first response care to an injured diver or person in any water related scenario. You do not have to rent or buy scuba tanks or equipment. Everything you need is included in the cost of the class. The student must meet or exceed the standards listed in the SSI open water instructors class in order to pass this class and receive certification. This is not difficult and our instructors are patient experts happy to provide the training in each skill until we are sure you will be a safe open water diver and we are confident that you are comfortable with the mastery of every skill and safety measure.
This is a beginners course. Must be a minimum of 10 years old, complete a medical statement and liability waivers and be able to swim comfortably 450 yards and have the ability tread water for 20 minutes to take this course.
