    Prerequisites:

    • Open Water Scuba Certification is required for this class by PADI. 
    • Minimum Age 18 years old
    • Must be able to perform complete basic open water skill circuit
    • Must be able to swim without support 250 yards.
    • Must have basic math skills

    Additional Requirements/Costs:

    • Park Fees $6 per day park fees for 2-3 days total for Florida State Parks parking fees. 
    • Optional Boat Dive $77 for 2 tank dive in West Palm Beach includes tanks
    • Maxium of 4 students per instructor ration in this course.

    The price is for the actual class and the book pack, EANx dive PADI tables combined.  All nitrox tanks used for classes and equipment needed to complete the course are also included.  You can choose from over 300 sites to dive for this course and we are very flexible with schedules and lcoations.  We have 9 instructors through out the state to serve you.   Please call with any questions you might have: 321.299.5796 or 239.297.9447.

    The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.

    Student must complete the academics in advance of the class in the workbook reading all chapters and complete all the quizes in the book prior to the first session with an instructor.  The student must call to book the instructor and class time: 321.299.5796 or 239.297.9447  It is reccomended that you book at least 3 weeks in advanced.

    After payment we will send your book pack for study at home before the class starts.  We provide all gear needed for the course however you are welcome to purchase these items on our website.  Please note: Accessories below has reccomended options for these items.  You can purchase these on your own elsewhere if you prefer too but it is not necessary.  Please call with any questions: 321.299.5796 or 239.297.9447. 

     

    This certification if completed will allow a person to dive recreationally anywhere world wide no more than a max recreational depth of 130 ft. deep using EANx or Enriched Air Nitrox without supervision.  This person will be able to purchase EANx scuba equipment, rent or buy EANx scuba tanks and board a dive boat and dive using EANx.   The student must meet or exceed the standards listed in the NAUI EANx instructors guide book in order to pass this class and receive certification. 

    This course will also cover:

    • Planning dives, Enriched Air/Nitrox Tables
    • History of Nitrox
    • Dalton's law of partial pressure
    • Physiology of Oxygen and Nitrogen
    • Depth Limits and Why
    • Advantages, Disadvantages & Risks of Nitrox
    • Student will learn to and analyze thier own breathing mixture and do so on several occasions in the course
    • Oxygen Toxicity
    • Hazards and precautions of handling oxygen
    • Concept of Equivalent Air Depth
    • Use of EANx with Standar Air
    • Common Gas mixing problems and procedures

    This is not difficult and our instructors are patient experts happy to provide the training in each skill until we are sure you will be a safe open water diver.  It is always reccommended to get advanced training after open water certification.  This is an advanced course.  Must be 18 years old, complete a medical statement and waivers and be able to swim comfortably 250 yards and tread water for 20 minutes.   Please call with any questions: 321.299.5796 or 239.297.9447
